    If you see one magpie it is a sign that you are going to have bad luck; Two means good luck; three means a wedding and four means a wake.
    If you meet a black cat on the road it is a sign of good luck.
    If the first woman you meet is red haired it is a sign of bad luck.
    If you find a horseshoe you should hang it up on a nail for it brings good luck
