    If a stranger came he would have to give a hand with the churning.
    Some people put a piece of iron under the churn for luck.
    Some people would not open the door when churning afraid someone would steal the butter off the churn.
    Some women would not give you a teaspoonful beastons afraid the luck would go from the butter.
    A lucky thing is to throw a pinch of salt into the churn and that would make you have a good yield.
