    Names of fields
Beside my home is Macetown. There is a field called the Pipers field. It is so called because two men lived there long ago, namely Peter and Michael Lynch. One of them was blind. They used to play a bag-pipes and that is how they were called pipers. The filed is called the pipers field for the past generation. There is another field in Macetown called the barley field because barley used to be always sown in it. There is another field in Macetown called the castle field because there is a caste there. There is a field in Frankstown called the Forge field because there was a forge in it long ago. There is another field in Frankstown called the Well field because there is a big spring in it.
