- There is a field called Burnstown and it got its name from Burns who was living in it. The castle field got its name from a castle that was there with golden window sills and Taaffe was the name of the family who lived in it. The nine acres was an old grave yard there is a stone padd going over to it and Mr Shelvin told me that it was used as a Protestant grave.
