The farmer does not like the dock the thistle or the rag-weed because the take all the substance out of the ground. There are weeds used as food. Dandelion is used for feeding chickens. Chicken weed is boiled for turkeys. Nettles are very often boiled for turkeys. Nettles are also boiled for children when they have the whooping cough.
