When they were driving out the next day they saw a flock of geese in a green field. The geese were all standing on one leg with their heads under their wings.
"Now Parson" said Paddy "look at these geese. They have only one leg" "Wait a minute" said the Parson. Paddy stopped the horse and the Parson shouted "Hush" The geese dropped their other legs, took their heads from under their wings and ran away.
Now Paddy said the Parson haven't they two legs
"But Parson" said Paddy "why didn't you say 'hush' to the goose on the table?"
