    The former Landlord was Mr Charles Dawson. He lived in Dublin. It is now purchased under the Ashbourne Act.
    The Townland has about 40 acres of bog which is wet Summer and winter. The bog grows big coarse grass and furze.
    It has eight spring wells with no special name. It has no Holy Well.
    One lios in Carrigan's Field. This is a circular lios raised about 2 ft.
    Story in connection with lios,
    One night a man was coming home from Clogheen at a late hour and as he was passing the lios he saw people hurling there. He stood against the wallto look on.He wasn't long there when a foxy woman
