    Candle making: Inserting Bull rush into a pot of melted tallow, and with-drawing same and re-inserting until candle was formed.
    Ploughs: The ancient method for making ploughs and harrows was, with timber, and those were drawn with oxen.
    Whips: whips were made with the hair of cattle and horses tails, intertwined or woven together.
    Thatching: the ancient method for thatching was, first rushes and ferns were cut and dried , then the house was thatched with them. Another way for thatching was with straw.
    Gate making: gates were made with timber just the same as the(y) are made nowadays.
