- Some people hold the belief that you should not pay out money on a Monday as they say that they would be paying money out for the remainder of the week. In country districts also, housewives would not throw out any ashes or dust as they imagine they would be throwing out their good luck. Monday is always a good day to begin work in the agricultural line, the reason for this is, that the farmers spend Sunday afternoon thinking out their plan of action thus they begin their work for the week.
