    time it was a fine stone building with a big wide door and a fine big space in front. Lynch left it and went to Lurriga to another forge. Then the landlord Pat Hourigan pulled it down. He could not get a tenant for it and did not want to be paying rates out of it. Ten years ago McCoy put the same tin shanty of a forge on the site of the old one.
