friends to play cards he spent many hours teaching the parrot to say "Uncle" meaning himself. At last he succeeded and was delighted.
The night of the party he took his friends to show how well his bird could speak, but in vain. After trying for ages he lost his temper and shook the bird fiercely saying "Say Uncle, you terror you" but it was all no use. So he finally opened a door and threw the parrot into the hen house. The men laughed and say down to play cards. Some time later they heard the hens going wild in the henhouse. When they rushed out they found that the parrot had killed four chickens and he was about to wring the neck of another, saying plainly "Say Uncle you terror." So the farmer forgave the parrot because it showed it could talk.
