This day she went to milk the cow but the cow began to kick and run round the field. At last she got her to stand and she milked her but when she had her nearly milked the cow kicked the bucket and herself and her seven calves disappeared into the lake and was never seen again.
Another time people were going to the fair of Rathkeale. When they were about a few miles back the road their cattle were driven back but the people saw no one for a while. At last they saw a witch and they tried to banish it but it was of no use. So a priest came and blessed the place and banished her and so the people were able to go to fair.
