Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Many people travel from house to house looking for alms commonly known as tinkers or tramps.
Different bands of them travel in the winter and summer.
Some sell small articles such as songs, ware, mats and flowers, these articles are sold by the women folk and men go around as sweeps.
Some beg for money and more for sugar, tea, milk and bread.
They sleep in camps and cars and cook at a fire by the side of a ditch.
They only stay for one night in every road.
There is another band known as Gypsys who sells only and tell fortunes. These are richer than the tinkers.
The men are horse dealer and they live in four wheeled wagons and caravans.
