    Boola is the name of my townland which means a place where cows were driven to be milked.

    There is a river which rises in Gleann Na Capaill and forms the boundary between Boola and Knockgloss, the Cam an Uisce.
    There are not many old ruins only the walls of an old church in Killogholehane.
    There are two old people living here, Mrs. McMahon and Mr. Sheehan. They know a share of Irish and a lot of stories about long ago. They were born and reared here.
    There is one family who lived here but they went to America and never came back to their native place.
