- This well was founded by a poor old blind man from the County Cork. One night as he was in his slumber he dreamed about it that it was a cure for blind people and it was situated on a little rock in the river Eaghan which runs through the parish of Templeglantine in the County of Limerick.
The next morning the poor old blind man arose very early. He first satisfied his appetite by eating a good breakfast, he then got his horse and saddle and started on his journey. The morning was beautiful and the old man and his horse were moving(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
