- Marsh Mallow:- This plant grows in Marshes.
Then it is pulled and boiled. This is a herb for broken legs when put into a cloth.
Wild Sage:- This plant is got at the sides of roads and in farms. This plant is pulled and boiled. This is a herb for the stomach.
Lady's Ladder:- This plant grows in farms in the months of May and June. It is pulled and boiled and it is good for the Blood.
Penny leaves:- This plant grows in farms and they are good for a pain in the belly.
Water Parsnips:- These plants are like carrots and they grow in farms. First you must cut off the leaves and then you must scrape the earth off the roots. Then you must get a drop of new milk in a saucepan and then you must scrape the roots into it and put it on the fire to boil.
Then get a piece of cloth and you must put the stuff on it. Then you must put it to a boil and next day the boil will be broken.
The Blessed Virgin's Candle:- This plant grows in farms. The flower is called the Candle.(continues on next page)
