    the milk and gave it to the patient to drink. A sore throat was helped by tying a goat's ear around the neck. Whooping Cough was cured by placing the sufferer under a donkey. This was done three times. A toothache was cured by putting a small lump of lime in the tooth. Cuts were healed by putting fresh cow manure on them or having a dog to lick them. Sore eye would be washed in strong black tea and to rub the fasting spit three times to them.
    For a sty on the eye, the sufferer should go to a widow and she would rub her ring on it.
