    and two doors, and four windows. There is a stone hob to the fire-place and there is a big bellows attached to it to help the fire. There were ploughs, and harrows, and hatchets, and nails made in Walsh's forge about 30 years ago.
    These are the tools which the smith uses at his work, an anvil, several hammers, a sledge, a vice, a drilling-machine, and a gear.
    He shoes horses, and asses, but it is not known whether cattle were shod or not.
    He makes bands for wheels, and shoes horses outside the forge.
    The forge water is supposed to be a cure for wild-fire a skin disease.
    The local forges were centres for storytelling always.
