- A few miles from Blarney in a place called Killard, a well is situated. Its legend is very little know.
During the Penal Day is said that a priest was saying Mass on this spot, & ran short of water, & therefore was unable to continue with the Mass. He prayed to the saints for help. Suddenly a well sprung up in the ground & the priest was able to continue with the Mass. This is the way it derived its name of "All Saints Well"- Collector
