Int he same townland of Derryduff on a mountain, is a flat circular stone about 8ft in diameter. There is a circle of stones round it, and it was fenced all round at one time.
On the land of Mr Joseph Chambers, in the townland of Cullinagh in this parish is a stone about 9ft in height. A man was told that gold was hidden beneath the stone and started to dig around it. A white-clad person approached him and told him not to interfere with the stone.
