  1. My Home Distrcit
    My home is situated in the townland of Kinrath, in Dunmanway parish, in the barony of the East Division of West Carbery.
    There are eight families living in the townland, including six farmers. The total number of people amounts to about thirty three.
    McCarthy is the most common name, not alone in this townland but also in the surrounding ones, probably due to the fact that all the employees of Tadg McCarthy of Togher Castle took his surname and quite possibly these people are the descendants of those employees.
