There is a Kilgobnet in Clondrohid, one near Mallow, one in Limerick, one in Waterford, one in Kerry, and one in Arran Islands.It is supposed that she found three deer at a place called Churchcross in Clondrohid, and there is a well to be seen there yet, and people pay rounds there on her feast-day.
She travelled on to Kilgobnet and there she found six white deer, and there is a well to be seen there and people pay rounds there. The word Kilgobnet means the Church of St. Abby.She travelled on to Ballyvourney and it was there she saw the nine white deer, and she started to build her church, but a woman who was going for water, it is supposed saw her, and she did not finish it.She is the patron saint of Ballyvourney and of Muskerry, and of all Munster.
