  2. One night my great grand father was coming from Castletown Bere on horseback after attending a funeral.
    When he was passing through the "Gap of Gour" he heard another horse coming on after him so he looked back and saw an armed man following him. He drove fairly fast but every time he looked back he saw a few more horsemen had joined him.
    When he reached the Cross of Lickbarrahin, there were about one hundred horsemen following him. Here a band of men on foot armed with pikes and pistols joined them and followed him to the Cross House. Some people say that they were the Ghosts of the O'Sullivans that haunt Miscush and Cnoc Fhúaire and all the other neighbouring mountains.
