  1. A man named Jeremiah Geaney lived in Drishane Skibbereen Co. Cork. He was a great story teller. Long ago Barlogue Point was said to be a very wide bay, and on account of the wickedness that went on in the land, he said that the western point moved east, and the eastern point moved west, and that is the reason why Barlogue point is so narrow now-a-days.
    There was also another man named Patrick Burke who lived in Baile- uactarach. He was a great story teller, and a great singer. He was a weaver by trade.
