    buried.
Several attempts have been made to unearth the rock but it is immovable so far. Many people have tried to unearth the treasure, but each time their efforts were in vain.
The treasure consists of a large barrel of silver and small pots of gold. Large amounts of gold were found in the same field farther off. An eel guards the treasure, and it is prophesised that whoever finds a green-topped rush that by means of it he will kill the eel. It is said that whoever dreams of the treasure on one night and of the eel on the following night will find the green-topped rush.
A story is told concerning the place. One night a man dreamt of the treasure, and on the night after he dreamt of the eel. The next day he went to the blacksmith and bought a laidle[?] that was never used before. Bringing another man and his wife with him he started for the intended place.
