    Among the Saints who studied under Saint Fintan we have Saint Colman of Lismore and Saint Comgall who afterwards founded Bangor and by whom most of the continent of Europe was converted to the True Faith. Other famous men who were educated at Clonenagh were Saint Moibhi of Glasnevin Saint Finbar of Guaganbarra and St. Aengus the Culldee. Those names alone show how famous Clonenagh was, and how proud Saint Fintan should be of his pupils.
    Saint Fintan was a lover of seclusion and he desired to be alone with God. So he selected a place, three miles south-west of Clonenagh, called Cromogue. In this place he built his retreat and had his a selected Abbot to take his place at Clonenagh.
    The people of Cromogue loved Saint Fintan more than the people of Clonenagh. Because in
