- Two carpenters lived in Ballintee. They were going to Clune to work and they had to cross John O Shea's rath. On the path before them was a churn dash was put with the handle broke out of it.
The father lay down his tools and put the handle in the dash and left it in the same place. They went and done their days work. When they were coming home that evening, there was a supper before them on a whith cloth on the path. All kinds of eating and drinking was on it. The father sat down and eat enough and if he stuck the son he could not make him eat a bit and he was burried on that day week.
