   I am inclined to be a little sceptical about this. I dont think Strongbow had much time for love making between his advent to this country and the capture of Waterford, where of course, he married Eva. Perhaps, Isabella, daughter of Strongbow and Eva, would fit this description better. Isabella, married the famous William (the) Marshall. The latter is supposed to have owned the territory on the Kilkenny side of the Barrow, whereas Isabella owned, or claimed, all in County Wexford and had titles to the Co. Kilkenny from her father - Strongbow.
   However, it is quite possible that Strongbow before attacking Waterford had a rendezvous with Dermot Mac Murrough on the banks of the Barrow and that they met at Annaghs. Eva, of course, accompanied her father and herself and Strongbow promised to see each other again in Waterford.
