- There was a farmer once who was a terrible miser. He employed a boy for a month to do the work in the farm. The first week there did an old sheep die and the boy had to eat it. The second week an old horse died and the boy had to eat it also. The third week the farmer's mother died. the boy left the farmer. Then the farmer told the guards because the boy had promised to stay with the old man for a month. The guards asked the boy why did he leave and he said that when the sheep died he had to eat it, and when the horse died he had to eat it. Then said he(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
