  1. There is a townland near the town of Ballaghdereen called Tibohine. It got its from a Saint called Bohine.
The saint lived as a lonely hermit for several years in a little cell or hut. He built a little chapel there also and used to say Mass in it during Penal Days for the people. The ruins of that chapel, and the hut where he lived is still to be seen. There is a grave yard all round that place now. Another new church was built near that place some years ago.
