  2. The people used herbs for cures long ago. Hemlock was one of those cures they used. Hemlock grows in ditches and fields. It is good for a sore throat. It is a poisoned plant. It grows in good land.
    There is another plant called parchwort. It grows in boggy land and bogs. It is good for boils. The people do not use it now. It wouldn't be found in this country. It does not grow in
