- There is a short way for going to the Church, and also to the shop. The way which we go to the church is by an old lane; it was made long ago. Long ago there was a hall built for damaging near the cross-roads in which many people went to it from the surrounding townlands. There are no stories told about the roads which runs through Leege. These roads lead to Carrickmacross, and there is another road for going the town; it is known as the "Carrick road.
