- The weather in olden times was very good. The old people used to let ricks of hay and oats without being finished for weeks. They used also leave their cattle out by night for the most part of Winter. The spring was very fine and there was no brother in sowing crops. When the weather was changing to get bad the swallows fly very low to the ground. The hills seem very near to us. The soot falls and the frogs change their coat black. When the weather was fine there was a clear blue sky. When the wind was coming the sky got red and the sheep go down to the low land and the goat comes home. From the south and west it rains most.
