At the death of a relative people always wear something black. Long ago at weddings each female guest used to wear a piece of white tulle around their necks tied in a bow at the side or back.
At funerals the people always wore pieces of black crepe and crepe bows on their necks. Those habits are not practised in the neighbourhood now.
