    Fallathurteen which means the cakes of the hedges. There are two people over seventy they do not know Irish and can tell no stories. There names are, Michael McNulty and Mrs Kilgallon both belonging to Fallathurteen, Dromard, Co. Sligo.
    Houses were more numerous locally in former times, and there is one in ruins. The land is good and fertile and there are no rivers or lakes in it.
