  1. My home district is Caltra. It is situated in the parish of Skreen and barony of Tireragh. There are eight families in this townland, and twenty five people. Most of the houses are thatched. The townland got its name from an old graveyard that was in it one time. There is only one man over seventy and his name is Thady Kelly, Caltra, Dromard, Co. Sligo.
    He does not know Irish. The houses were more numerous in former times and some of them are still to be seen in ruins. A lot of people emigrated from this
