    Once upon a time there lived a man whose name was Bluebeard.

    A Story.
    Once upon a time there lived a man whose name was Bluebeard. He had several wives and after a short time they all disappeared and nobody knew what happened them. After a time he married another girl and lived happy for some time. One day, Bluebeard had to go out on some business, and he gave her the keys of all the rooms, but he showed her one room that she was not to go into. When he left, his wife looked in all the rooms. When she came to the room in which Bluebeard told her not to enter, she was very anxious to know what was in it, so she opened the door and looked in.
