    O'Dowd and he had a mare. The mare had a foal and he was just as nice as O'Dowd's. The poor man got afraid and put the foal into a stable. After five years he took him out and jumped on his back. The horse was blind first, but after a couple of minutes he went off in a gallop. It happened that O'Dowd was out that day and he noticed the other horse as white and as big as his own. He got angry and off with him after the young horse. The poor man was not able to halt his horse until he came to the sea. When he saw the rocks, and the waves dashing against them, he got frightened. He turned very short and left the mark of his hoof in the ground.
