  1. When a person got sprained he went to the one who had the cure. Mrs Laing of Branchfield, Skreen, Co Sligo had the cure, but she died five or siz years ago. She made the cure by making the sign of the cross and saying some prayers. Another cure is if you got a waver's thread without asking it, and tie it round the part that was sprained, it would become alright.
