To cure earache you put a bit of black sheep's wool in it. It is a cure for chilblains too. If placed between the first and second toes it will cure bunions.
An onion heated in the oven and put in the ear will cure earache. - It is believed in Lislakelly, Drumcliffe, Co. Sligo where I live that if you go to a graveyard and take a tooth out of a skull it will cure a toothache. I never heard of anybody trying this. A double hazel nut is also supposed to be a cure.
