The police officer that was watching over my mother gave a sudden start and said to her, "Who is this fellow beyond you in the bed' at that time he pulled her two year old son out of the bed. She called out "coward" and the officer in charge came into the room and asked why he took the child out of the bed. My mother said to the officer "Your brother officer deserves promotion for his gallant capture. He handed her back her supposed rebel and slunk to the door. The officer in charge apologised and called off his men.
