There is a row of girls put up the room, in which there is one more girl than in the row of boys.
A tune is either played or whistled to which the girls march round the row of boys and when the music stops each girl must get a projecting arm. There will be one odd girl left. She and the last boy in the row must leave off and the game continues until all are off.
A number of quiet games are played while the players are all seated, viz. Proverbs, "What is it like," "Mew" : "Vegetable Leaf" : "Wee Melodie Man" "Post Office."
