    Co,Roscommon there is a very old castle and on one side of it there is a very big grave, and a big stone as a mark over it. It was a Dane and his cruel wife who founded the castle first.He and his family increased and he had a pack of hounds and the pack contained fifty two hounds,and the people of the castle used to kill every horse that would pass and at last they began to kill people and to give them to the dogs.On account of that cruel work he soon died and it is said that one of the house servants that poisioned him.A wise man who told her that she would be killed by him before a certain number of days would be up and she put poision in berry juice.He drank and Alas! he died.He was left in the castle until his statuewas made, It is a long stoneand then it is turning upright and it is there yet.
