With that a little man about two feet high, and dressed in the usual dress of a fairy, stepped out from the other side of the hedge and said, "you will have not that to say again if you do what I tell you" I will do anything you say barring murder" said Billy.
Well then said the little man, go down to the lake there beyond, and pull three of the bullrushes you get growing near the brink and bring them back to me.(continues on next page)
