- There are two tailors in the Williamstown district Mr Geraghty a shopkeeper and Mr Kenny. They both work at their own homes, and they do not travel from house to house as formerly.
They used to go from house to house long ago and make all the clothes they had to , with their hands. They had no sewing-machines at that time so they were three or four days in each house.
