In my district boys dress up in straw and go to the house where the wedding is held and dance. They are well-treated in return for this because they offer great amusement.
Sometimes when there is a wedding the neighbours dips sods of turf in parafin oil, set fire to them and hold them up on a fork, as a sign of welcome for the married pair.
