    1V Story (Continued)
The last occasion it was heard was about six months ago, when Mike Keaveney was working at mid-day in close proximity to the Lios heard the "banshee" distinctly and on the way home to dinner, he asked a neighbour (Pat Wade) had he heard the "banshee". The latter said " no but heard it yesterday at about midday. There was a young woman giving birth to a baby on the day that Keaveney heard the "keening", and she died just at the very time he heard it.
After dinner these two men returned to the fields and pursued their daily toil until late that evening.
On their return to their respective homes after their day' toil, they were in no way surprised to hear of the sudden death, as it was not their first experience of the "banshee" in this place.
