    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    This is a thrilling game that is played at wakes in some parts of this district. Seven men dressed up as tinkers go outside. A man and seven girls supposed to be a father and daughter stay inside. The tinkers come in singing the following rhyme:-
    "Here comes seven tinkers so blithe and so rare
    Coming to court your young daughters so fair
    Will we get lodgings here, O Here!
    Will we get lodgings here"
    The father replies:-
    I have seven daughters so slow by my knee
    And one of you tinkers won't get her from me
    And you won't get lodgings here, O here!
    And you don't get lodgings here."
    A man who stands inside with a batten beats out the tinkers. They sing this rhyme going out:-
    "Bad luck to your daughters and likewise to yourself
    Since we have got no grant of a wife
    (leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
