Jim thought that, that happy time would never come.
Christmas Eve was a great event for Jim.
On the twenty fourth of December, Jim, was sent to pull holly to decorate the house. He was warned by his uncle to pull a special piece for the pudding.
Jim raced off and pulled the holly. When he came back with it, it was placed all around the house, and a special piece was placed in the pudding.
Tea was made and Jim got his cake. When tea was almost over Jim's mother said
"Jim, better leave some of your cake for tomorrow."
"O Mammy" said Jim "Daddy told me never to leave for tomorrow what I could do today" so I could eat some more of the cake today(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
