And tho Lannbeiler by the sea is crumbling in decay
Molaga's name thro' famed Fingal
Is oft recalled to day
Balbriggan town its tribute pays
To this great Saint of Yore
Its Hampton Terrace bears his name
Molaga of Bremore. - litte stream in N. Co. Dublin known as Delvin River.
Upon its banks St. Patrick was wandering; Dined in house of Sescnen - fell asleep afterwards on brink of stream.
Aenignus son of SESCNEN searched for him - plucked flowers & laid on breast - Patrick awoke & predicted "He will be my heir". Aenignus known afterwards as St Aenignus the poet. Saint of Ireland was Patrick 's life long companion & his successor.
